Potion Brewing 101

This illustration depicts a colourful and bubbly scene from a beginner's potions class where little witches learn how to brew flight, friendship, and love potions.

On the left side of the illustration, a cute little witch stirs a cauldron with one hand while holding her white cane, with a dash of red near the tip in the other.

She fills most of the left side of the image, her little witch's hat poking out at the top of the frame. 

[cheerful whistling]

Pink, plump vapour clouds emanate from the big cauldron, licked by green flames at the centre-bottom.

Her assistant, a black cat with a pink bow and yellow eyes, sits on a nearby table to the right side of the cauldron, holding the next ingredient for the potion.

The little witch, with tan skin and brown hair, wears a cutesy blue pinafore dress with a pastel pink blouse, a pink bow on her neck, and pink bobbles on her pigtails. She has closed eyes, big eyelashes, and a tiny smile on her round face.

The entire scene is framed by thick, irregular, multi-coloured clouds speckled with squishy sparkles. The candy colours, set against a midnight blue background, create a playful and fun ambience.

The whole illustration is crafted out of foam clay reliefs. The rounded and plump shapes resemble marshmallows or play-dough, yet the texture to the touch is squishy, much like EVA foam.
